Interesting take on "Neutral Tones." I like the way you utilize nature to convey the emotions without being cliched, as a lot of poems tend to get. I also enjoyed the last line. I think that really carries the message of Hardy's poem.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you're aware of the undergraduate magazine on campus called The Oval, but they publish a lot of poems and short stories by university students in the spring. I'm on the staff of the poetry board, and we're always looking for new poets to submit their stuff.
